What we sort

The jobs behind getting off gas.

Replace ducted gas

Swap a ducted gas heater for whole-home reverse-cycle that heats and cools.

Split systems

Single rooms or a few key spaces, sized properly for the room.

Hot-water heat pumps

Electric hot water to finish getting the house off gas.

How it works

Three steps, no phone tag.

1

Tell us about your place

Your suburb, what you run now, and what's bugging you about it.

2

We pick one local who covers you

Licensed, insured, and actually working your area. Not a call centre.

3

They come out and quote it

A real price for your place. You decide, no chasing. Free either way.

Reverse-cycle runs at about half the cost of ducted gas.

Ducted gas~$1,600 / winter
Reverse-cycle~$780 / winter
roughly $800 a year back in your pocket

Typical figures for a 3-bedroom home through a Melbourne winter. Your installer works out the real numbers on site.

The VEU rebate, handled.

Most homes switching off gas qualify for money back through the Victorian Energy Upgrades program. Your matched installer works out exactly what you're eligible for and sorts the paperwork, so you're not chasing forms.

FAQ

Fair enough to ask.

Do I have to rip my gas heater out now?

No. Victoria isn't making owner-occupiers rip out working gas. But new homes needing a permit have been all-electric since 2024, new gas connections lost their subsidy in 2025, and from March 2027 a gas hot water unit that dies has to be replaced with electric. So when your system gives out, electric is increasingly what goes back in. Better to know your options before you're cold and rushing. Read the full guide.

How fast will someone contact me?

Usually the same day, and within one business day at the latest. One installer, not ten.

What do you get out of it if it's free for me?

The installer pays us for the introduction. You don't. So we only make money by sending them people who are actually ready.
